Feel at home in Roskilde
Welcome
In 2013 we decided to renovate the first floor of our house so people from far and wide could come and stay in homely surroundings close to the centre of Roskilde, a charming city only 30 minutes from Copenhagen.
Staying with us in Roskilde you will be 'home from home', where you can come and go as you please, as there is a private entrance (no reception). Check in from 17.00, check out at 12.00. During your stay you can cook in our nice shared kitchen, fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove, coffee machine, kettle and microwave. We have a nice newly renovated shared bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
We don't serve breakfast but the bakery and pizzeria are only 2 minutes away - as our guests you will receive discount at the pizzeria.
Tea and coffee is free of charge and there is a selection of soft drinks and beer in the fridge at a low price. There is a shared dining room and a rooftop terrace where it is possible to sit outside when weather permits. Smoking is not allowed inside the house, but you may smoke on the terrace. If you wish to be more mobile and explore Roskilde and surroundings then we also have city bikes for hire. Pets are unfortunately not permitted.

Rooms & Prices
Each room has space for two people, with the possibility of a double bed or 2 single beds. The price includes bedding, towels and end-of-stay cleaning.
In each room there are 2 bedside tables each with a reading lamp, a full-length mirror and either a cupboard or chest of drawers for storage. Additionally each room contains a flatscreen TV and a Bose® Soundlink® Mini Speaker.

We accept payment in Danish Crowns, Euros, British Pounds and US Dollars.
We unfortunately do not accept card payment.

We rent out bikes on a daily basis.
Prices:
1 day: 100 DKK
3 days: 200 DKK
1 week: 400 DKK
You don't have to be a guest at the B&B to rent our bikes.
We have 6 bikes, all equipped with 7 gears,
hand- and foot-brake, lights, lock and a basket.
Hi, we are Zoë and Michael, owners of Bymarkens B&B.
We love to travel and met each other whilst traveling in Bolivia. When we bought our house in Roskilde we therefore decided to start Bymarkens B&B so we could offer accommodation to other travellers.
We live on the ground floor and have renovated the first floor of the house, where we enjoy receiving guests from all over the world.
